Mahi is the President and CEO of the Albert Schweitzer Stiftung für unsere Mitwelt, an animal welfare charity based in Germany. He has been an animal advocate since he launched the ‘Cage-Free Campus’ campaign as a student.
Mahi has been working with Compassion since 2008 and joined our Board of Trustees in 2013. His main inspirations are the achievements of Mahatma Gandhi and the late Henry Spira.
Factory farming is one of the great injustices in the world. It is great to see more and more people standing up to the atrocities of this system and I'm sure that my generation will be able to witness the demise of factory farming, if we work hard and smart enough.
